What is the difference between a rent agreement and a lease agreement?
You can claim the rent paid using the copy of your lease / Rent Agreement with the landlord. If the Rent paid > 8000 pm, you will need PAN of the Landlord to claim Rent rebate. It is lease agreement with landlord, the payment you make every month is the rent. anything more will only confuse us.
