Can I terminate my lease?
I'm not 100% sure what the case would be in Georgia, but here in Louisiana, my company recently purchased an existing property. A couple people asked if they could terminate their leases, and the answer was: not legally. That's here, though. The laws may be different in Georgia. If you want to be absolutely sure, bring a copy of your lease agreement to your attorney and let him look at it.
