How much did you get with the cesb money? If it just barely covers that, then they might just be money hungry. My dad did the same thing but he started charging me at 17. And he worked it out so I had 30 bucks for the month. Because he was money hungry. And 2200 for a single room? That's insane. You could find a decent apartment for that price and live on your own. Being 18 now you have to make some choices. If your parents wont let you live there to help save money then start looking at all your options and figure out what's the cheapest for you.
